$2200 to spend in a nitrous set up.

Hi, I have $2200 dlls to spend in my car, I decide right now that I'm gonna go for the Nitrous route, I want to be a little different of all turbo guys. First of all, I'll buy a NX express direct port set up, an I'll upgrade my ECU in JWT. After that, I'll still have $1000 dlls for accesories, or other things, maybe a progressive controller would be ok. Tha fact is that I'm gonna spend $2200 dlls in a nitrous set up, If I don't need the ECU I won't buy it.

Help please!!! Give me Ideas! I think I could buy a good setup with this money.

And I hope to run it in the 2004 SERCA Convention :D

Pd. (I'll have slicks when when I sell my 17's rims)

THanks for all

370 cc injectors ---
(a friend is selling me for $150)
300ZX Fuel pump ---
JWT 100 shot program --- $595
Purge -- ???
Bottle warmer --- ???
Gauges --- ???
Installation --- ???

What more do I Need?

Or what else could I get with the moeney?

You are not going to need a direct port kit with the JWT 100hp shot program. You only need a dry shot as the fuel is supplied by the ECU. Are you sure about the price ot the ecu, programming itself for just the POP program is about 500, s4 program 100, and nitrous daughter board another 400 something.
For the fuel pump just get the Walbro 255 lph unit. Maybe upgrade to a better header to let the exhaust flow alittle better. Consider a nismo FPR. Definately need a bottle warmer. Run colder spark plugs, BKR6E's will work but BKR7E's would be better for a big shot. Last time I got a price for JWT's nos ECU it was $895 but that was a few years ago. Sorry it's all jumbled up, it's late and I'm tired.
You should also get some pullies btw.
Alright buy this stuff:

NX direct port wet kit
NX progressive controller
Bottle heater
Nitrous gauge
EGT gauge
Purge
Walboro 255 lph
Slicks and/or drag radials
ACT HDPP SD Clutch

This will be safe enough to run a 150 shot...

YOU DO NOT NEED NEW INJECTORS TO RUN THIS!

Have fun!

Yeh I think he needs to understand the difference between a dry kit(like jwt program) and a DP kit.

Well, it is possible to have a dry direct port kit...
Possible but Kinda pointless.
you can get the purge, warmer, and gauge in the genx2 upgrade, which you can get for around 385 i think. There is a group buy for a walbro 255 fuel pump for 85$ in the group buy section.

NX progressive controller
Bottle heater
Nitrous gauge
EGT gauge
Purge
Walboro 255 lph

I like this setup, thank you very much, but is this all that I need? I think I read that I'll need msd or something like this.

MSD is a window switch, which will allow you to floor it at a low rpm, and then have the nitrous kit in at say 4k rpms, and then it will turn it off before you hit the rev limiter.

You will not need this, because the Progressive controller will take care of everything for you. :D

MMMMM every time I read about squeeze....sounds so tempting~
dude, just do the JWT full kit and you won't have to worry about
a)buying a kit
b)progressive controller
c)window switch
d)blowing your motor unless you do something really dumb
all you would have to do is buy a fuel pump to be save and some heat range 7 plugs and gap the crap out of them and you will be running good

a)The JWT set-up doesn't come with a nitrous kit, just the ecu.

b)JWT doesn't not have a progressive contoller built in, If I were a JWT user, I would use one, especailly with a 100 shot...

c)Does the JWT ecu come with a window switch? I'm not sure about that one. In any case, if you have a progressive, you don't need a window switch.

d)I don't think the JWT upgrade comes with injectors.

and e) For 1000 bucks to JWT, I"m pretty sure ONLY get the ecu. What a rip off imo..

Or am I totally off, and their is a FULL kit now. How much is it, like $2000.

My (~$1000) JWT nitrous kit came with a 50 shot dry NOS kit, the ECU daughter board for control, a relay and switch for arming the system and decent installation instructions. The ECU senses when the TPS is wide open and starts spraying.

You can see the installation here:

Ah, didn't realize you get a dry kit with it. In any case, I would feel much safer with a window switch/progressive controller.

I"ll stick with my direct port wet kit, make your own desicion...

I sell the stuff, so I think I kinda know what I am talking about, no, you don't get injectors with it, and yes, thier full kit is expensive, but it is all intergrated and totally bad ass.

It may be badass but it will never be as fast as a good progressivley controlled system. As long as you know what you are doing, its very hard to blow it up with a direct port system. Like I said, I made my decision, because I think it was the best choice, you may think differently..
