Ok I can get my hands on a set of 23"x8.5" slicks for nothing. I think its 8.5" but not to sure. They will fit on a 15" rim. Good/bad? Any comments?

My car last season ran [email protected] on DOT drag radials w/2.1 60'. 98 Sentra SE w/BB DET,msd injectors, cobra maf,FM IC(15.5x5.5x2.5). I'm just wondering if I should grab them or not.

23x8.5x15's? I never heard of a 15" coming in that size what kind are they!

If you can get them for nothing...pfff get em!

Slicks and DOT tires are day and night. You need slicks with a turbo.

Weird. From what I know the guy that has them runs them on his Mustang. He uses the stock 15" Mustang rims with them. I'll find out more this weekend and get back to you guys. I'm defenatly going to grab them. I just wanted to know if they'd be any good.

Actually, if they came off a mustang, they are probably 15" slicks. I don't think you will be able to fit those under your wheel well or be able to turn them if you do. I don't think you will want to pick them up!

It sound to me as if those are possibly 13" slicks. Find out what brand; M&H, Mickey Thompson, or Hoosiers. If they are, you will need to get a set of drag wheels such as Keizer or Bogart 13"x9" wheels. You can run a lot of boost with those slicks.
