Just got back from talking with my buddy at the dealership....He called me to come take a look at this new packet that Nissan sent him...It had a Picture and specs on the new Altima...3 words for ya..FAB U LOUS! That badboy is gonna be bad ass! 280hp 280p-tq. from a V6. I don't remember off the top of my head but I think it was a improved version of the VQ motor from the 300ZX. He also told me the Maxima is going to a 300hp++ V8...But you guys should check out the styling on the Altima...nice looking car! If I can get ahold of that pic I'll see if I can scan and post.

It's actually going to be 240hp 246 ftlb torque. It can be had in a real 5-speed (non of that semi auto crap), Xenon HID headlights, rear independent suspension (derived from the Q45 and Skyline), 16 or 17 inch wheels, 4 wheel disc brakes, abs, will actually be a bit bigger than the current maxima. It'll be badass..... even the base version has the SE-R QR25 with 180 hp and 180ftlb. check out www.freshalloy.com, www.nissan-usa.com, www.nissannews.com

Uh... dude... look at his info... It says he's from Austin, TX. If I'm not mistaken, the UT in his screen name stands for University of Texas.
