sorry, yes i meant that a check engine light will be on if it is the crankshaft position sensor that is acting up.

Well I have no cat. and am using a 94 g20 ecu so I see that damn light everyday. Does anyone know how the internals of the dist. work. Does the sensor read 1&2 together and 3&4? Why would it only read or send spark to 1&2?

is the g20 ecu obd2? i though 96 and up was, anyways i'd start by getting your factory ecu BACK in and go from there.
