my A/c is not blowing as cold as it should, and i want to recharge it , i wanted to know if it is enough to put just one can or do i need to do the 2 cans as it says on the Hayes manual>?

i have heard some rumors about if u overcharge or undercharge it sometime inside the A/C lines gets frozen or something like that. is this true or is just a rumor

please help

You will need to buy a pressure gauge at AutoZone/Pep Boyz in order to answer your own question. The AC system has a set # of pounds of refrigerant it can handle, and a pressure gauge will tell you how full/empty your system is.

Once you know that, then you'll know how much (1 or 2 cans) the system can handle.

were do i attach the pressure gauge to?

low or high pressure line???

In my old B13 I recharged with two cans of R134A suf from pep boys. That stuff worked great I will be doing it in my classic soon.
