Hey guys just wondering if anybody knew of a decent place to get a Alterator at a decent price? 2nd bad alternator in one month..just flat out stops working..Got this last one from a mechanic. ( Rebuilt ) but at has a one year warranty so i'll take it back on Monday..but don't think I wanna keep getting rebuilds...Whats a decent price for a reliable one??? thanks Guys

i had a bad problem with altinator in my clasic after replaceing my alternater 4 times i started cheaking wires it ended up being a bad wire to my idiot light after i disconected it i didnt burn up any more altinaters its been about 6 months sense then and still no probs

I know im gonna be called a idiot for asking...but exactly which idiot light? This alternator didn't even gradually go...just up and died..so let me know and i'll get to checking some wires.. Thanks again

there are 4 wires comeing off your altinator 2 bolt down and 2 more are pluged in 1 larger then the other it should be the smaller of the 2 wires hope this helps

IIRC Carlos had the same problem. It seemed that every aftermarket alternator he bought went out on him after about 2 weeks. I think the only way to fix that is to get a genuine Nissan part $$$$$$
