ok, just curious, what would happen if the stock sr20de exhaust manifold were used for turbocharging. I know someone would have to make a custom flange. Would the manifold hold up to turbo use or would it eventually crack?
you would probably run into clearance and flow problems. I think the manifold would be too far down the exahust to get anywhere. iirc, the turbo should be as close to the exhaust ports as possible. just go out and spend the $300 on the nissan motorsports manifold, and save yourself money in the longrun b/c you would have to get something fabricated in a major way to get it to fit.
