looks like an Exedy organic - good clutch, I've got it in my Honda, it's better than stock in every way - shoulda came w/ the car from the factory

as for quality, Exedy is the performance division of Daikin Clutch Co., an oem supplier, so they've got the quality question taken care of

I wouldnt buy a clutch off ebay unless it was from a known good source. A kid came into the shop with a "racing clutch" that he bought for like $300, and it was just a fenco (cheap aftermarket replacement). Besides, imagine if you have problems what it's going to be like trying to get a warranty claim in a timely manner.

You had to be an ass? There two completly different questions! Everyone doesn't read every post, I was hoping "ARE EXEDY CLUTCHES ANY GOOD?" someone would see "Exedy" and give their opinion on the clutches.

exedy is a premier manufacturer of clutches, so i think for a stock replacement it will be more than adequate. i bought a valeo brand clutch, another top brand manufacturer, off ebay for 99 bucks, 115 shipped. excellent deal, it's holding up fine so far, for a stock replacement that is...

Excuse me, I sit corrected. Maybe I shouldn't speak my mind. I just noticed that you asked 4 questions about clutches and what you should do. Everyone said to stay stock, and the cheapest setup is the KEY Value setup. Excedy clutches are OEM replacements. They are stock setups. They are claiming to have more holding capacity that stock(5-10%) but in reality it is probably the same. they may install a stronger pressure spacer(not sure of the name), for the contact surface, than what was originally used by nissan. but Excedy is a huge company that make OEM replacement setups. ACT buys their discs and pressure plates and then, rebuilds them. BUT again this is a stock setup, and you could save $40 and just get the $99 key value setup as listed by other members.
