Are any of you guys/girls running VE engines with manual transmissions and a stock VE ECU?

If so, please contact me at [email protected]

I am embarking on removing the CVT transmission from my Primera Wagon (SR20VE) and installing a 5 speed manual LSD tranny, and I have been told there could be major ECU issues.

I think the best way to do what you are doing is to find a 5 speed P11 with a SR20DE take out the DE harness, comp, trans, axles, tranny mounts, flywheel and flywheel.

Install all this stuff with VE comp and run the two wires from the comp to the selenoids.

Just an opinion on how I would do it.

Is this a new set of problems, Mark, or the old "rumour"?
As I have said there are a couple here that have used the standard VE ECU without any complications...except the rev limit of 7200rpm.
