Guys question - I paid $375 for a lightened JWT flywheel from someone on the se-r.net classifieds he said it had 500 miles - I got it and its ate to hell - JWT said I need a new center heat shield - $65 and I need to have it resurfaced.... - The flywheel may have had 500 miles on it but if so it had 500 miles using no clutch or something - what should I do? I've asked for a refund of what its costing me to repair as he sold it "like new".

dude, thats total weaksauce. Sorry you got ripped off, you should post that guy's information so he doesn't get a chance to rip anyone else off. He should do the right thing and compensate you for the repairs to his "like new" product

Most people don't delete their ads after selling the parts. There's nothing stopping anyone from going to the Classifieds and looking up the ad with the sellers' name themselves. Since that's the case, disclosing the sellers' name to the forum isn't telling a secret. That said, I wouldn't do it until he has adequate time to respond to you.

I found broken bolts in it today (never looked it over well its still in the box) so I've demanded my money back and threatened mail fraud - sorry but I'm getting sick of getting screwed (and we exchanged goods via mail and I used a postal money order ect) The good thing is that he lives very close Soooo if I don't have a refund he'll get his flywheel back but it won't be pretty....

Here's an idea, how about a "Bad Deals" forum Ben? We could post people and companies to avoid. (Or at least some sort of running list.)

Holy hell batman - he responded and told me he bough it from someone that told him it was almost new - before he used it he sold the car so he sold it - sooo he SAYS he'll refund my money and is going after the other guy... We'll see what happens.
