i spelled them wrong...it was my fault
Ouch! Did that spring pop out like that while it was on the motor? If so, I hope nothing happened with that spring freely toiling in there. Call ACT and tell them about it. Hopefully they will give you some sort of deal. How long have your had the clutch, and how many miles did you add up on it?
Damn... I wonder how that happened?
I have had the clutch since last January, but I only drove the car for about 5 months, has under 15,000 miles on it, and about 13 dragway runs.
did u notice anything wierd before it gave out?
ya the clutch pedal felt really really different, but i could push it in all the way. I just couldnt shift gears anymore. And when I tried to start it, it would move forward even though the clutch was pushed all the way in.

dammit, looks i joined the blown clutch club :( . i cant shift into any gears either. my wheels moved when had the clutch pedal was pushed in too. im using a 2001 se disc though instead of an ACT, this is weaksauce.
My 2000 SE disc blew a spring out a few months ago. That was on my G20!
can someone please explain how these springs work and what their purpose is? I have a vague idea, but I know I dont really know and it bugs me.
The springs absorb the shock of engagement. If you look at the disc you will see how the center hub is supported by the springs.
