I posted to the se-r mailing list with a brake noise problem I have been having for a while. Someone replied with this link

They said that when they did the "big break" swap with a NX (I'm pretty sure it was a NX) the noise went away but he never figured out what the problem was in the first place.
Has anyone come across the noise found in the above site?
Mine isn't as loud but I can see it getting to that level.
