Ok, let's talk brakes here! I need 'em. I've been stopping my "all bolt-on beast" with stock brakes for years and now they've had it. What should I do? Here are options I'm considering:

NISMO brake upgrade
Stillen upgrade (I think it's just steel lines and stuff)

I definitely need new rotors, pads, and lines but I dont think I need a new MC or calipers. I'm not really sure. The brakes now are all stock, almost all original (I know, can you believe it?)

Thanks.

Well yesterday I upgraded to the ad22vf's I will say do them if you got some better rims than the stockers. Getting them to fit behind the stock rims is a pain. Took many hours of test, grind, retest. But they are not bad. Cheap too, talk to Mike Jez he can get them for cheap, I am spending maybe 300 for everything including shipping and fluid and cleaner all the tools and crap. The SMC kit is nice with its 2 piston calps but if you arent going to do serious racing I would say go to the ad22's. These rotors are beefy not to mention the calps. Get the ad22's and steel lines all around. you can also talk to jez about a rear brake upgrade but other than him i dont think anyone has done this. I needed rotors and my calps were bout fried so decided instead of rebuilding them i would just upgrade. Im totaly sore from it today and still dirty

Yeah, I only run the 14 inch rim up front when I go to the dragstrip so it should definitely fit under that. Otherwise I'm always running 15s-17s.
