i was wondering if there is a cold air intake setup available for the first generation G20 cars? would one from a 200sx se-r work? or from another SR20DE car? thanks.

Hate leaving a post without a response. I don't know since I don't know a lot about G20s. If you post this in the G20 forum you may have more luck.

You may want to try calling Hotshot Performance or Place Racing. I know Hotshot's website is simply www.hotshot.com . Place Racing's should be in the www.se-r.net vendor's list.

Good luck!

thanks guys.. i emailed place racing yesterday and they told me i could use their CAI intake for a comparable year 200SX SE-R. so my next question is, those of you with the place racing CAI.. how do you like it? is it better than say, the stillen regular intake?

Well I can't compare the two but I can at least tell you how it changes a stock car. Right around 3000 you can feel the car kinda jump like it wants to be opened up. Install was pretty easy. IT was my first mod and it's pretty sweet. Technically it's my only engine mod, and I think it's well worth it. It just growls all the way to redline. Here in V-8 country, (very uneducated like that trolls we have) it taught a few Displacement freaks some respect with a basically stock car.
I raced a modded early 90's mustang, it runs approximately mid 14's I think, and he said he could hear the car growling behind and then a SCRRATTTCCCHH as I shifted into 2nd and 3rd but that's the Clutch....back to the intake...yeah I think it's well worth it. I'd recommend it.
