Jason, I'm not sure if I'm going. I'm having my block tapped for my oil return line that morning in the San Diego area. If I make it back early enough I will at least go hang out.

Nice to hear your turbo project is comming along Robert. Maybe we'll be boosting down the track together sometime soon. Till then i'll just have to see how i do against those evo's, sti's, and srt-4's.

You should whoop up on them. Especially with the boost turned up and some good tires. You wanna borrow my drag radials?

Robert - Thanks for the offer but I'll let you save those tires for when you're boosting. You'll need them. I'm gonna give it a few more tries on street tires cause I know I still have room to improve on my driving.

it's on hold right now, cause school started and when i have work and school i have little time to myself... the motor is out and everything its just ready to get dropped in... cant wait but school comes first...

oh yeah! so how was the track? how did you do? any time slips?

Yeah I went to the track but it was packed and we only got 2 runs. I think i'm giving up on street tires now. NO traction in 1st or 2nd. My best was a [email protected], 10psi. I had super crappy 60'. Didn't get enough runs in to improve it. My friend Rodney got a [email protected] in his B14 w/ OBX header, HKS catback, and HS CAI.
Maybe you'll have your VE in by the next one on the 28th yeah?

How did you do on your second run Jason?

ehhh lets just say bad. I didn't get the second run till almost 10pm. I spun first shift, spun second shift, third grabbed at around 3500. I got a 14.5 @105. I think the track got really cold and slippery at that point.

with that MPH you should be hitting some mid 12's with 2.0 60ft times.

You must have had like a 2.6-2.7 60 ft time with your 13.9 second run.

Not at that track Frank. Traction really sucks there. But you should be in the mid 13's at least. Time for some drag radials or slicks.

yeah actually my 60' was 2.5 the first run and 2.6 the second run.
i might go on the 28th but if i do i'll try to show up earlier so that i don't have to wait till 10 to get 2 runs in. i'm gonna be looking into drag radials or slicks. i don't plan on going back without them.

You're saying that with 2.0 60 foot times that car will hit mid 13's?

No way, that car will run mid 12's with a 2.0 60 foot time.The tracks traction is fine, its the FWD people trying to show their "Skillz" on street tires that have no traction!

No I meant with the mph and track conditions that it's definetly going to run a mid 13. Throw some slicks or drag radials on it and it will definetly run high 12's or low 13's. He's not running the mad boost like you Frank
