I remember reading a while back that 94+ had larger oil squirters for the cams?

is this true and is it worth swapping in?

I don't believe the updated tube is needed unless it keeps getting clogged up.
If I had a reason to pull the VC off I would check it. You will be able to tell if
one of the squirters are clogged, the cam lobe will look scored.

just put that baby at least once a day to 7500 and they won't ever clog up

If you are concerned about your tubes being clogged, just remove them and spray some carb cleaner through them. I don't believe the 94+ tubes are significantly larger to justify shelling out the money for replacements, they are most likely somewhat pricey.

There is indeed an updated part with larger holes, I believe it started on G20s. Don't know the year they started, but if you buy new ones that's what you'll get.
