I have to give it gas to keep it running untill it gets to operating temp. Its getting worse really quick so I think I need to fix it quick or it might not start at all!

Had the same problem a month or two ago. Cleaned my throttle body...all better!

Also a friend of mine had almost the same symptoms but his fuel pump was starting to give up.

Check those first I'd say.

I'm having the same problem. New PCV valve didn't help. I have 74k miles so I'm going to try the throttle body cleaning this weekend>

Ahhhhh thanks for reminding me. I have to do my fuel pump. I'm over 100,000 miles. The 2 things "Horus" listed can be a problem, you also have the "Idle Air Control Valve (IACV)/Air Rrgulator" that goes bad over time and beleive it or not.... the "Temp Sending unit" can cause problems. If it has corossion on its electrical connecters the ECU can receive bad reads. That's about all I can find right now.
