Oh how we wish it would have!
You know other SR20 cars did come stock with turbo though although not the SE-Rs. The SR20DET comes out a Pulsar GTI-R. Those are nice. Engine importers can get you the engines for anywhere between 1500-3000 dollars.
can you imagine what impact Nissan would have on the world had they made the SE-R's turboed stock? I am about to cream in my pants at the thought...ahead of its time for sure...
