Living in PA, I like to take advantage of any nice day I can. It was really nice out today, so I washed my car. After getting the layers of salt off I found some rust. A few spots I knew about, and they got worse.

This is on the driver's side, infront of the rear wheel

This is the inside of the A Pillar, by the drivers side door hinge

Rear quarter panel, on drivers side

Passenger side rockerpanel

Well thats all the rust, here are the other clean pics:

well, what do you guys think? I'm thinking of dumping the car this coming fall and picking up a G20T. The rust is bad, and the rear quarterpanels are worse than they look?

Looks like it's nothing. It's when you can see the other side you have a problem. Or big cancer spots. You can clean them up good, and not have problems for many years.

Sell it. Pick up the G20 and take better care of that one. buy yourself a beater for the winter.

My sister-in-law's '98 Sentra has rust on the passanger side below the A-pillar as well. Could there be a drainage problem that is allowing for water and other contaminents to find it's way back there?

Can't see the pics, but sorry about the rust. Is it repairable? If it's repairable then I'd just fix it, but then again, I don't like having a car payment.
A G20 sure would be nice though.

Hey at least you didn't find a fork, porn flyers, and a baby bottle! I guess that's what you get when you buy a used car!

How the heck did you manage to get your B14 rusting? Do you NEVER wash it, or was this something the previous owner did? The paint looks absolutely shot in those pictures.

You gotta take care of your paint/body to keep it rust-free, I assume you know that right?
all of that is from the previous owner. up until december that car was getting washed and waxed every other weekend. and right before winter, i gave it a good carnuba wax, it was an actual pure carnuba. although i appriciate the bashing. There isn't much I can do i suppose, just prevent further rusting the best I can until i can buy something else
