I usually just get some measuring tape and measure from the ground to the fender, or measure from the center of the wheel to the fender. It shouldn't be the same height between the front and the back. The back fender was designed lower, and it gives the illusion that the back is lower than the front. The car will look slightly raked if you have it even at all 4 corners (but it looks pretty good, IMHO.)
