Personally on my car I blocked off the vacum line from the intake. When I had it connected the idle jumped. Then I saw some pictures of people blocking theirs off. So I tried it and the jumping idle disappeared. So the question is if its blocked off and its not receiving air, so do I really need it. Can I just block off the Idle air from the intake manifold? or would that cause problems with the ecu not reading the iacv?
