what is this?

is it easy to fix?

is the car drivable with it like that? if so how reliable is it to drive with this problem?

it is mounted on the tranny by 2 14mm bolts and a 10mm bolt on the line. should take you 10 minutes to replace, plus a little time to bleed it. its easy...

it depends on how bad it is, if it is starting to go out you can drive on it, if it is totally gone it won't hold enough pressure to move the clutch arm. they are not too expensive. Retail from Nissan is around $45.00

If you are lucky, you might be able to get away with just changing the seals in the slave, which you can find for around $5.

A slave from Autozone is less than $20 IIRC.
Yeah I think the last time I changed the one on my 240 it was about $18 from Autozone. It'd prolly take longer to change the seals than it would to change the whole thing.

All of the above, and if the car sits for too long, you have to pump the pedal to get pressure to the cylinder also. Due to them usually leaking, which is a sign of going bad usually.
