Drag Pulsar GTi-R-600+whp 2011?

Hello new on this forum but thought only share with you some of what's happening in my garage just outside Stockholm in Sweden.

Are building on a pulsar GTi-R a little bit to fit me a little better.
The car will be used to street race (1 / 8 miles) but will also run 1 / 4 mile course.

engine spec so far is:
CP Pistons 86mm
Ealge stakes
ACL bearings
ARP bolts for the most part
steel cylinder head gasket
Piper cams 285 degrees and lift camshafts 11:13
adjustable camshaft drive from pipercams
Tomei rocker arm stoppers
brian crowr valves and so on

The gearbox is from Par-Engineering. A straitcut dogbox with 5th gear replacement cuff. All bearings are replaced with new, just as all oil seals.

My English is not the best but try to understand me anyway:)
The interior of the car is nonexistent, a chair, a steering wheel, dash a log and nothing more. also moving back the seat 20cm.

this is supposed to be a clean and nice drag race machine.

Upload photos so I hope someone finds my project intresanta and will follow it.
Want to say a big thank you to Gerard on the Par-Engineering and the PBZ.se

Hope you like the pictures:)

the begining :p

will be fiberglass bonnet and alot more to save weight, like plastic windows and so on.

hope you enjoy it :)

thanks so much!
very nice that you like it:)

some more info for those who are interested.
target weight of the car is around 1000kg, ready with a full tank.
if I tell you what I hope to ride with the horsepower, you will laugh, they have done in other forums GTi-R: P maybe just because they failed themselves: P
Hoping to land at about 650 wheel horsepower.

sit and try to think of a good solution with micro switches to avoid using the clutch and let the gas escape when I switch gear. wish I can keep full throttle, but breaking the ignition, which makes me lose torque in the gearbox and should be able to switch without a clutch or not to release the gas, but must get ignition direct again for not wasting time: P
a bit to think about. had any easier with a sequential gear lever.

some clips from the contest, I built the car to compete in.
this is some of my conflicting dates ;)
1/8 in 6,5 sec or lower :p

hope to be there fighting for the title in 2011;)

[quote = Groudy , 2538613 ] ledsen att jag måste säga det men din överstycket är fruktansvärt! har du gjort *** själv ? ? [/ QUOTE ]

what were you thinking then?
cylinder head has been run on the flow bench and flow of well over 1000 wheel horsepower, which will suffice for my 750hp.

fun that you walk and read on my building and have opinions:)
cylinder head is processed by RaylonRacing here in Stockholm, do some work for teams in the Swedish Touring Car Championship.

hehe no this car wont be a daily driver, :p
fun that you ejoi the car anayway :)

that looks like street racing! :-0
hehe yes, street racing, the cave is very strong here in Sweden with several different major "championship" or what to call them, with several races where you collect points to the end of the season decided:) where Birka Cup is the tournament where there are no rules at all, you may run with vadsom Hallsten on four wheels with the power and the tires any moment. second cups are regulations on tiers

I don´t know. May be your head is good enough for 1000hp but this head looks better ;-)

Which turbo you run on your engine?
