Boring the block is not required unless 1)new oversize pistons are to be installed 2) cylinder's seriously out of round (out of spec.) 3) taper out of spec. 4) cylinder walls scratched. If you're re-using your pistons and are just going to install new rings, I would just hone it to help the rings seat properly. As far as bearings... your closest friendly Nissan Parts. Dept. should be able to help you out. If you need info on how to size your bearings, let me know; I have a nice picture (sent to me by Courtesy Nissan) that shows you how to size them.

Thrust washers? Thrust bearings sounds better. Just make sure you get the right sized stuff. Many places don't know too much about bearing sizing on DEs that's why I went straight to Nissan.
