Now the hard part...is there anywhere anyone knows of a page with some instructions or at least help doing this swap....should i go in from the top or bottom...common problems....things i should change while I have her all apart??
Thanks guys and girls and thanks ben for the great site!

If is a used engine CHANGE THE CRANK BEARINGS. This must be done. Something like 90% of the import junk engines that don't do this fail very quickly.

And you are supposed to remove/insert the engine from the bottom.

But it can be done from the top ;) Its a PITA bit if you angle the motor and trans *just* rite you can pull them out together.

Droping them in is also a chore it gets annoying when you have to line up the motor mounts.

Mike Droping DET's the unconventional way.

ya, do a nice little rebuild before you put it in. saves you time and money in the longrun. probably take you a few extra days to do, and a few extra bucks (if you do it yourself) and will last alot longer (if you rebuild it correctly)
