Will someone pplease give me some advice on removing the stock exhaust tip on a 96 200sx? I'm trying to install a better aftermarket tip, and I want to keep the stock muffler for now... Any suggestions? Some have told me to unbolt the lone nut, and simply pull it off.... Unfortunatly this didn't work for me... Yet.....

The tip is secured in 2 places; where the bolt is and at the end of the tip near the opening. It's a friction fit at the end of the tip, so spray some wd-40 or something on the tip part and the piping, then just try and work the tip around until it pops off. this worked for me.

Okay, I'll give that a try in the morn, maybe... If I get time.
