I think Turbonetics recommends at least
1.25" for the Deltagate. The larger
the better. The faster the wastegate is
able to dump the gas the better, a larger
diameter pipe would aid this.
Ideally it should dump back as far down
as possible. This becomes tough to do
because the longer the tube the wider
it needs to be to flow the same. The
closer it is to the turbine the more
turbulence it creates and dereases
exhaust efficiency. How much it decreases
it I don't know but probably not enough
to be a major concern for the average duty
se-r. The Hotshot kit dumps the wastegate
right back in.
Hope some of that helped.

Ok.. what would be the best Diamiter for an external WG pipe 1"-1.5"? Also what would be the Ideal distance for the pipe to be reconected to the exhaust after the turbo? This is my daily driver and I have a 5 year old son I like talking to,so having it open the the atmosphere is out of the question.
