Do a compression check to determine the health of your current engine. If it comes out good then go Fmax. If it looks like there are problems with your current engine then go with a det.

Basically what im saying is boost is very addictive and you get used to the power, i've seen WAY TOO many people go from a T25-T28 to a F-Max style kit with T3T04E's. A JDM is 500 bux(WOW thats alot!!HAHA) Do the F-MAX and if you blow the motor buy a new one!!!! You'll be happy
Nah man, I'm not trying to shoot down your goals. I remember seeing others in Ca. have issues with emissions.
