I'm running an SR20VE with wai, 2,5" crushbent cat-back, Jun flywheel andCenterforce clutch. Plugs are NGK BRK-something, cant remember, set at about 1mm (.040"?), a S-AFC II is hooked up, but not really used for anything at this point, and VVL-activation is done with a GReddy MSS. I use the Primera GT SR20DE RR MAF, and the VE injectors. It's all controlled with the DE ECU.

That should be all about my setup.
Now for the problems. I'm having some real bucking issues. The whole car is shaking when this happens. Seems to be when it switches between running in "idle-mode" and normal. With the S-AFC I can view the TPS %, and this bucking seems to happen below 4% throttle-opening. I dont know at which point the IACV really takes over.

Could it be timing? Something wrong with the IACV? Plugs (they are fairly new)? Fuel-problems? Just general tune-issues?

Any and all tips and ideas are welcome at this point.

Thanks in advance for any entries :)

You're running 333cc VE injectors on a DE ECU which is calibrated for 259cc injectors. How's that going to work?

Yeah, I know, and I agree with you. But someone told me the ECU would basically adjust over time, and it wouldn't be running so rich. And I still don't understand why I would just get this low-speed, low-rpm, very low-Throttle-opening bucking because I'm running rich?

But let's say you are correct (what you say is a problem anyways, and need to be looked into), then I have two choices, right? Get it tuned with the S-AFC, or switch back to the 259cc injectors? If I do the injector-swap, will it be in any danger of running lean when the big cams kick in? I don't want to see some problems worse than richness on 5k+ rpms you know.

Well..I'll try to run it with a broadband and tune a little the next couple of weeks, then I will try to remember to update this thread accordingly.
I definately agree with you this is the place to start, so let's hope it'll be better (and make more power? :) )
If it could be -anything- else, I'll take suggestions for that too :)

Please just put the 259's in, and the proper DE maf for that ecu. This will simplify your setup and be a great base to start from. You will not run out of injector or maf with this combo on a stock VE.
