when you guys come over from the main GTi-R forum.....search first trust me...some of the stuff has been covered

Check the FAQ for the oil and water line info.

The manifold is a big unknown since no one seems to be able to make them in the UK

unless you get a GTi-R in the US to volunteer their car to a shop you are pretty much **** out of luck :(

You can buy a Trust manifold and cut the mitsucrappy turbo flange off it and weld a garret flange onto it.

You will need a different manifold for sure...we tried.
Hi

But what about the gt30?
you try this with the gti-r manifold?
what problems do you have?

No, a GT30 most likely won't work on a GTiR manifold. I'd imagine too much grinding of the manifold would be required, and the T3 flange would have to be welded on the manifold.

I think Travis (Unlucky) was able to do it, by adding a spacer flange at the head and grinding a portion of the block. I don't feel like searching for the thread, but I think it was Erich Tuckers car.

Well, I have the HKS .73 A/R housing and the GT30R should be here in 2 weeks. I throw it on the GTi-R manifold and then on a spare motor and see how it goes.
