Actually, I thought that they were 8.5:1, it was just the head gasket that made it 8.3:1 on the GTiR?
I would be interested in the rods, if you want to part them out.

I will take the pistons if someone wants the rods. Does it come with rings and locks etc to put onto my usdm rods. Let me know.
Gti-r pistons will net 8:5:1 cr unless you are using an actual gti-r cylinder head. The gti-r head combustion chamber is the cause for the 8:3:1 cr .
these rods will go on an DET Crank correct?
