::guaging interest:: custom ceramic 5-puck sprung disk
...........guaging interest on this.............just waiting for the carriers to be shipped from Jersey..........then I will be driving the prototype this spring.........completely NA with intake on a 91 nx2k..........will inspect after the first 400 mi...........pair up with a chromoly flywheel (promo)..........inspect after another 100 mi then give it another 100 punishing mi........... mainly for the flywheel's durability..........but we need a boosted sr to ride one.....to be confident in the fact that it is a sprung hub..........
..........anyway.......I had this up this past summer and now they are ready for assembly.........I know that there were a few interested in these but thats when it was designed as a 6-puck..........these will be 5.........but heads up we have a new clutch option soon..............
this is a product that I asked for and is being built by a group here in Lansing by the name of Clutch Dynamics .........I see a long and fruitful relationship with these folks...........will post pics of the produced disk , all the specs, and pics of each inspection.............later

.........well....when my gf and I got the account I chose to use tick340.........but we ran our isp on her cc.........but now we are keeping all our stuff seperate because we are slowly dissolving our "togetherness" and that was part of it..........long long story.........and anyone that has chatted or im with me knows that I'm a pretty abrasive person.........I don't blame her......... but we are still living together right now "assessing" our future ............. but I had to take a lawyer induced sabbatical(sp?)..........I am on official 20 hour work-week disability right now and I have time to put this forum back together with Clutch Dynamics again now that the assemblies are all close to built....... the price on these are gonna be real low for what it is since he gave me the original estimate close to 9 months ago.........but I will be driving the na........we want one on a boosted sr and one for long term punishment eg.road-race , auto-X .............

....boy this hit page 2 pretty quick..................well I have an update.............
.......the hubs that he's waiting for are good to 480hp at the crank so I don't think we will have a problem with spittin springs outta the hub.........the ones he has on hand are rated at 280..........I have pics that I'm cleaning up and will post tonight.........the hubs will be sprung with 6 of the largest springs I've ever seen on an 8 inch disk.........after this deal is ironed out and there are 20 of these on his shelf he is up for making some flywheels to match , in good time .........
.........so as it stands right now there will soon be 3 rated at 280hp at the flywheel just to get the feel of the ceramic-5-puck sprung hub.........and he's milling my flywheel for a fresh surface (suggested but not essential)
on another note he showed one of his bbies he's workin on.........11 inch levered clutch for a top-flight trans for a tractor-pullin dodge..........
........well thats all for now.......more monday........
