How many of you guys keep your hands at 3 and 9 on the wheel?

When? Street, auto-x, track?

I keep mine at 3&9 for street and auto-x. On the track, I preset my hands for each individual turn so that in the middle of the turn, my hands are at 3&9.

So, I guess I have my hands at 3&9 all the time, everywhere.

I start at 3&9, but I do so much hand shuffling that I usually lose track. I probably only return them to 3&9 for slaloms so I don't have to shuffle and can just work on the rhythm.

I'm the same. I probably look like I'm a drowning victim.

I do the same thing Matt. I try to set my hands up so when I'm in the turn, my hands are at 3 and 9.

You get a larger range of motion using 9/3 instead of 10/2. If I'm driving fast, on an auto-x or road course, I try to always have my hands at 9/3. If I'm just cruising, I usually have the left up at 12 and the right off wherever..... like Brian said, if there's a lady in the car....
