When I was doing an engine swap one of the header studs started to turn slip thread. so I didn't tightnen it too hard. Nothing is leaking so far...

NOW, I want to install aftermarket header like hotshot gen 5, what do I do?

how do header studs come out if the threads are not toast? counterclockwise?

some guy http://www.se-r.net/zotz/se-r_header_photo.htm
here was talking about replacing all the studs
here is some pics and problem he had>>

You are correct. The header stud goes in like any other bolt. Clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen. Are the threads on the stud toast? If not, you can still use it. You'll just need to get a Helicoil kit to repair the threads on the cylinder head. The size of the thread is M10x1.25.
