Just wanted to say thank you for the invite to this forum even though I know see I've been on since last October. lol
For the curious about where I've been. A lot of things had to shake out over the last 9 months or so. I was a partner in a new shop venture that opened last July and our relationship went South quickly for various reasons. I saw the writing on the wall, cashed out and went with my original plan on my own. Since October 2003, I've been open as Häss Autoworks. We do auto sales (Dealing mostly with "car guy" types of cars), service (On cars we sold and selective other jobs) and high performance (parts and "high end" installations.).
As of February 2004 the car sales/service area has stablized and is making profit so I expanded and opened the high performance division. Things are going great. So far we have two SE-R long term type projects, both B14's along with a few others you guys probably wouldn't care about. (Carburated Chevy, turbo BMW etc) One SE-R is a planned to be an "ultimate street car" type vehicle with a goal of making about 400hp in a very streetable fun ride. It's almost a twin to my old red B14 and only has 39K on the clock! The other is still a street car but with a dual personality for drag duty. We expect no less than 500whp, with the number 575whp stuck in my head as an ultimate goal. We'll see. I'm doing all the machine work (Tools alllowing), headwork and planning on the motors and will be trying a few ideas I've had floating around my warped mind.
Anyhow, I hope that didn't come off as a spam, it wasn't my intention. I just wanted to give those who might have been wondering where I have been some info. For those that don't care...sorry for the wasted bandwidth. lol
Now that I have a little more time and the crazyness has subsided, I would like to post more on the forum and would also like to sponsor the site in some way. I've been having a hella bad time with the mailing list from a technical perspective and I pretty have given up with it at this point.
Again, thanks for having me here I hope the two projects we have going on will produce some information that can help someone else with theirs.
Cheers,
