waz-up waz-up!!!!
happy easter to everyone.
my mechanic is looking at my 94 se-r tomorrow and i want him to advance the timing on it. how much timing should he advance it? i have no mods yet. but i plan on crying like a baby to my wife till i can get the discover card from her and purchase cams and an ecu. ( about 3 months from now )
help help!!

Between 17-19 BTDC but remember if you do that you have to rum good gas, like 92+

Why is it at the mechanics?! Something wrong. You can do the timing yourself in like 10 mintutes. Any idiot can do it

Just get a $35 timing light and a 12mm wrench and do it yourself. You will be playing with timing so much as you modify your car that you NEED to know how to do it yourself.

wow, $35 for a timing gun? I had no idea!!
okay then, Im going to pep boys next week when i get paid. now how do I adjust the timing with a 12mm wrench?
I can do tune ups and all that myself but i have never messed with the timing.
but im sure i can do it if i get taught how. your help is greatly appreciated.
