Hey all, I need some help.
I'm not sure if this extra tube is suppose to have a vacuum hose
connected to it. There are 2 vacuum hoses that are connected to 2 tubes
on the front side. The 2 tubes then run and connect to 2 other vacuum
hoses on the backside. Underneath these 2 tubes is an extra tube with
no vacuum hose connected. These tubes/vacuum hoses are actually located
in front of the throttle body and underneath the intake pipe. This is
for a 99 sr20de and I'm not sure if pre-98 sr20s have this. I have
pictures to help further understand my problem. If anyone knows, can
you please let me know which vacuum hose this tube is for? Much help
appreciated.....

When I first noticed this was when I first installed my NOS last September(9/00). My first mod was PR CAi, that was from Oct from the year before(10/99). No mil lights since cai and nos. I still can't find a loose vacuum fitting anywhere.

I looked at my '96, and I don't have it either. I remember from putting the turbo on Ben's car, that he had a vacuum connectio empty. We didn't find a homeless vacuum line, so we forgot about it. maybe its for CA or Canadian emissions?

Thanks guys, I just needed to get this off my conscience. I want to make sure everything is ok before I go dyno. Yeah, my buddy with a 96 didn't have it on his car either so I had no clue why it was exposed.
Well...gonna dyno with just cai, denso Iridium plugs, courtesy pipe/straight thru 5zigen muffler on and off 70shot nitrous. I hope i pull good numbers...Thanks again guys.

damn, 70 shot?????????? I remember you having the 50 shot on there and me the 70..

98 se-r w/ p/r cai, stillen header, courtesy exhaust, JUN flywheel, ACT clutch, NOS nitrous kit, eibach springs, kyb struts, st sways, cusco camber plates, f/r strut braces, lotsa bushings, and a bunch of other crap not really worth mentioning

Yeah, i remember you telling me. 50 was nice, 60 was better, but the 70 is such a difference. I couldnt believe it until i showed 2 of my buddies in my car. Just got the bottle filled, warmed the bottle to 1100psi and whoa!!!! hehehe...spun until middle of 2nd gear, no traction!!! This was with me and 2 other people in the car on the 70shot and just a cai. i highly doubt i will be doing that again once i get headers and cams. i'll probably go back down to 50shot. i gotta admit, i love it. my daughter does too. hehehe....
