I drive a SR-20DE B-15, sadly I was involved in a heavy front left end collision and I pretty much totaled my front end. They put on a new sub-frame, lower arm, strut, anti-roll bar, etc etc...the whole works...anyways, the odo was at around 1500 when I crashed it.

The odo is now at around 4300 and about a day ago it started making this weird squeak. Its not a constant squeal, but more of a mouse squeak, short, fast, suttle.

This squeak would only happen at certain conditions and when it does happend, it happends at the same "location" of the car (Front Left).

The conditions are...
1. Brake induced front end dive would cause it.
2. When my car bounces back from a complete stop.
3. Moderate acceleration (car "bouncing" upwards)
4. Going over some bumps.
4. When the car shifts itself (auto) from 2nd to 3rd.

The last one seems weird. But I think its safe to rule out a tranny problem since I did test drives in first, second, OD off and OD on and conditions 1, 2, and 3 can still be replicated so I am leaning more torwards driveline problems.

What's your take on this guys

under the bumper skin there is some styrofoam insert .it could be loose and squeaking. spray adhesive just a bit and put the skin back. also check grill and bumper related stuff push and pull stuff so you can hear it and pinpoint the squeek.

where else could it be? the strut?

it could also be the sway bar bushings need some white lithium grease. these squeek when dry sort of like irr,irr.use the vaseline looking kind of white lithium grease much better than the spray stuff IMHO.take them out and grease em up good.
