Im looking for a powerful clutch setup thatll hold 400+whp(~high 300's tq) with no problem, but at the same time is at least somewhat streetable. Basically, Ive narrowed it down to a 6-puck Sprung Hub disk--since ACT doesnt make one the only other 2 are ClutchNet and SPEC: here's what Ive found so far:

ClutchNet:
Type 1X Pressure Plate
6-Puck Sprung Hub Disk (Metallic/Ceramic)
holds~600hp
cost: $445

SPEC:
Stage 3-I Pressure Plate
6-Puck Sprung Hub Disk (Carbon-Metallic)
holds~550-575hp
cost~$450-500(estimate)
available option: 25% lighter Pressure plate for $~75-80

Anyone have experience with any of these setups???
Ive heard good things about ClutchNet and spoke with them for a little at SEMA last year, and was pretty impressed. At the same time Ive heard great things about SPEC, mainly from BMW/Porsche road racers and V8 guys; but they seem solid ..just looking to see what you guys making some real power recommend for power/streetability.............

You know there is a GB going on right now, and you can buy that clutch kit for around $315, right?

i saw pics of a spec clutch explode in a sr powered 240sx, we dont know if it was install problem, or manufacture defect, but it still happened. it actually broke huge pieces of the bell housing off. freshalloy.com will have pics, ive also been using the lighter use kevlar kevlar combo from clutchnet and im impressed. its held 12psi like a champ (t25) which is not what ur looking for, but what im saying is if they make a good entry level clutch imagine what kinda high-end clutches they make.
