Hks Evc 1

I have this installed on my car right now and today i went out for a bit(first drive with the boost controller and new turbo). My ?? is that when i have it on manual and i set it to 15psi...when it hits 15psi it will either hold for a few seconds or it will hit 15psi an then goto the spring pressure of the wastegate(7psi) I have no cluw why this happens. I have the low set at 7psi and the high set at 10 psi and the manual reight now at 15psi. All other settings work great!! The car pulls like no other with 15psi but then the wastegate gets loud as hell and i boost at 7 psi!!! Why is this..has anyone had this concern with the HKS EVC 1?? Thanks

I'm not sure about the EVC 1. But my Evc 4 has over boost protection on it. If I had the over boost at 16psi and the boost set to 17 psi it would hit 17psi for a mil a second then go right to the spring default. Might have to turn the over boost protection up to 18psi or 20psi so it won't do that.

As far as i know it doesnt have overboost on it
