Problem as the subject reads, started recently. Appears when the engine is warmed up, especially with city driving or sitting in traffic.

The engine bogs down from 1500, shaking around like it can't breathe, then is fine over 2000 or 2500 rpm. Happens anywhere from 0 to maybe 35mph, first to fourth gear. (Never at that low rpm in fifth).

Any ideas? Plugs and wires are 15k miles old, O2 sensor less than two years old, clean air filter. Could it be MAF related? I've been running a K&N drop-in for many years and heard that long term the oil could kill a MAF. Odd though that the problem is recent, within the last few months. Car is a '93 SE-R with 115k miles.

Any thoughts appreciated.

1. Clean the EGR

2. Clean the throttle body

3. Do a MAF reground just in case
