I've heard people running high boost and NOS and getting ridiculous ETs (like older f-bodies and cars like that, not really imports). Isn't adding NOS to turboed car just like adding more boost? I know there's that cooling effect, so maybe that helps, but why run turbo plus NOS as opposed to just more boost?

well, there are more reasons for running NOS for turbos, probably one of the main reasons people use NOS instead of more boost is to use it as a spool up for the turbo. you can juice it about 2.5k while the turbo does not spool until 3-4k, so it gives it ALOT of help, but they can also adjust the hp to the t to prevent wheel spin and all of that kind of crap ;-)
