Got a line on a couple of the "Recaro-like" 91 SE-R seats that would _sorta_ match my interior but I don't care about what my interior looks like that much anyways since it's not much to look at in the first place and the stock seats are not very supportive. The seller says they have recently been cleaned and he has a steam cleaner he would use on them if I wished to purchase them. He said "What is a fair price to you?" and I have NO idea what an appropriate asking price would be. My absolutely wildest guess would be $60 a seat? Does that sound remotely ok?

That's an excellent price, as long as they're in good shape.

Another NX2000 owner has a set of '91 Classic seats he bought for $175 US for the pair.

Excellent lateral support, as long as you're not too big, width-wise :)

Looks like I might get them for $100 if I go pick them up and $150 to ship them to me.

Now I have a question on the seat covers. It looks like at least my headrest and seatback covers are removable. I remember folks saying that the 91 SE-R seats have removable covers as well. Does it work to swap the covers so my interior matches well?

Yes the classic's seat covers are removable but like he said I dont think they will fit each other. I bet tho you could take it to an auto upostry shop and they could let them out a bit or remake the back so they would mactch up and fit correctly. Just dont know how much you are into doing this.

If I get em and can't get em on myself I'll take it to some shop. Wonder who would do that sort of thing? A body shop? Is there such a thing as an upholstery shop?

Someone was showing me a website or two that made aftermarket leather for cars. Anybody know of these places? Catz sounds familiar to me but I know that's a foglight company... :)

Yea at home like a 1/2 mile down the road from my house there is a shop that does car interiors. Check local shops they will know of people that do interiors, shops like hot rod shops and maybe stereo shops might know.
