Anybody know anything about upgrading a T25 to a T28 or anything like that? I've never touched one and haven't seen real close up pictures so I have no idea how you swap different spinny things or housings. I have got the info from the SE-R list archives on the specific stuff I would want to upgrade to as far as the turbines, compressors, and housings, but as far as actually DOING it, anybody have a clue? Or any resources where I could find out?

Also how to port one a little bit yourself? Odds are I'm going to have an incomplete kit for a while so might as well work on making it better in the meantime if I can.

I am pretty sure it has a diffrent flange, but can be modified to fit. (to a t28) they are both pretty small turbos, so fitament should not be a problem. it it is, nissan motorsports sells a t28 manifold. I think it retails around 300 bux. I will trade you your t25 for a hair dryer though :) also, porting is not that hard if you know what you are doing and have the right tools, so..............

The t28 is a ported and t25. It also has a diffrent compressor wheel or somthing. The t28(t25!) will bolt up to the BB t25(t28!) manifold. This is what I found searching through the arcives. The exhaust turbine housing(witch bolts to the manifold) is the same. The compressor housing is also the same as the t25 but its ported and has a larger turbine wheel. so the t28 should bolt rite up to the BB manifold.

I could be wrong ;) but thats the jist I got from searchin!

What do you have to know and what tools do you need? I thought you just went at it with dremel-like wheels and had your way with it :)

I have another Idea. You could just get a boost controler and set it to 10psi. The tires will start to brake loose a little up around 6k in first and second gear... even with 3 people in the car ;) hehe!

Mike
P.S. you should hear the BOV at 10psi =8]
