Well I was on my way to a super bowl party and my car dies like a block from there so I coast to the guys house. I pop the hood and don't see anything and am wondering why it sounds like it has no compression I didn't get on it once. Well later that night I get to taking it apart like checking for spark and it has none. So I undo the distribitor from the head and its all intact. then I put the flash light on the camshaft the exhaust side....And WOW the camshaft does not move....either some how I snapped my timing chain at 2500 driving or the sprocket came off on that one cam...I really don't here anything dangling...Maybe my cam broke something what the ****

I'll find out tomorrow and keep you guys posted these were Tomei 270's and 12.5 lift by the way and also a turbo G20 thanks guys

Yes but why would it take over 2 months to snap the cam if it wasn't torqued properly tooken to 8k daily ....and it snaps driving at 2.5k? I hope not

It was just its time, It could have been stressed almost to the breaking point and just finally failed.
Or the timing chain snapped. This would be very, very rare, but it is a possibility. Removing the valve cover will answer all your questions.
Took off the valve cover tonight and found out the Greddy Valve spring BROKE...yes it broke into like 3 to 2 peices made the rocker arm fall off Wedged the cam....and the sprocket kept turning and broke it.

What bullshit this really blows I wasn't even getting on it WOW I'll get pic
tomorrow

yet another engine swap can't Wait LOL
Damn bro, are you sure you torqued everything properly? Sad to hear, good luck though, everyone has their times. My car got hit last week.
Positive completely the spring just broke....only thing left is i wonder if I bent valves
Greg that is exactly what happened to the my S3 intake cam after about 2500 miles. That exact same location right before the lobe!

Also I was driving normal and all of a sudden couldnt go any where so it probably finally just broke. Shits a bitch, gotta make sure everythings torqued to spec I've learned.
