I went down to Apex yesterday to check out the prices on the AEBS header and got quoted 375. Just 2 weeks ago it was 360. So I said screw it. I coulda told them they told me 360 2 weeks ago, but I figured it wasnt cool for them to not have set prices. So I called another place called Versus for a price on the Hotshot. They said 340 and it would be in on Thursday. So I said ok. Is this a reasonable price? I havent payed for it yet.

Hmmmm.... $340 for a Hotshot header. Sounds like it must be Alimunized steel for as I remember, the stainless ones are a quite a bit more. Is this a price with cermic coating and a flex pipe? Got to have a fex pipe or it'll soon be junk. Hotshot makes pretty good products. I have heard good things about them. There was a big header reveive in a Sport Compact about a year ago. It really helped. I'll try to find it and list the retail prices. Don't forget to retorque the bolts on the header after a week of driving. Good luck

For perspective, I paid $475 for my non-EGR AEBS when they were first introduced 2 years ago.

Also, the SCC article mentioned earlier is refereneced in 2 or 3 previous posts - lots of info in them to help you decide.

I paid 425 for my Gen 3 Hotshot about two years ago and paid 450 for my AEBS w/egr fitting. So either way it sounds like a great deal. I also ordered mine direct so since it is not in bulk, I didn't get such a good price.

The ghetto operation this place is running never ordered the header I guess, So I'm not gonna wait days and days for it. So I went down to discount tire and ordered some kumho 712's.. They are being shipped from the factory and should be here next week.

Damn kids. $315 is mad cheap for a new G3 header. Mine was $420 new from JWT last fall.

I know you can get the AEBS now w/EGR fitting. Does it also come with a wire harness to help extend your front O2 sensor, or did you lengthen it yourself?
