I just got mine cleaned at the stealership this past week. They charge like $80. They take ur fuel rail out and hook them straight up to a machine. My car feels much better now that I had that done.

I was under the impression that our injectors are self cleaning.

to a certain point they are, but after 157K they might get a little clogged, just like vcr's that have self cleaning head cleaners, they do good but eventually you need to clean them.

I would stay away from the bottle cleaners for our injectors. What you can do is the cheap simple thing, call up the diesel shops around your home and see what they charge. Most diesel shops either can clean them themselves or ask where they take their injectors to. Usualy pretty cheap too, cheaper than sending them to RC Engineering. Most places use the exact same sonic cleaning too, just they flow them a little more extensiive testing at RC.

I've used a bottle of STP Injector Cleaner every 3,000 miles and everything is fine- 173,000 miles so far. I've heard it might be bad to use it but I've had very good luck.

rc sucks. we have had quite a few customers with really bad experiences with them sending them wrong parts, not cleaning their parts, ect, ect. stay away. just run good gas, keep up on your tune ups, ect, ect, and you should not have a problem.

yeahI heard this too but this isn't an add on thing. this is hooked up to the fuel line without the fuel from your gas tank and run without gas then when the bottle runs out the engine turns off and your done. hook up the line again and feels much better. worked on mine and other sr20de cars no problem and the owners of the cars just came back with big smiles on their faces.(this is a good sign!) maybe I'm wrong but I don't think you guys are talking about the "Run Rite" intake and fuel system cleaner.applied to engine not gas tank.
