I just recieved my jgy fuel rail and on the instructions, it says , referring to msd style injectors, "remove the brown washer and any plastic spacer that protrude into the intake manifold when installed". Now my injectors have a black spacer, than a brown o ring, on them on the side where injector goes into the intake manifold. Is this what they are referring too? because if i removed them, the injectors wouldnt have any o rings or anyting?

Thanks

Yeah it seems weird, but the only thing sealing your injectors to the intake manifold are those thick black rubber insulators.

The ONLY o-rings you will use are at the TOP of the injector, where they go in to the rail.

Good luck.

Hmmm, this thread makes me wonder if i took the o-rings off the end of my injectors or not, lol! I can't remember! I know i don't have the big plastic ones on there though for sure. Well, if no problems after 5-6k miles....
