OK got my Pace Setter SS today and the ES shifter bushing are on back order. A side note: I have heard of Nopi being out of stock so I chose a local Auto Store to see what price they could do for me. To my surprise Pace Setter SS= 59.95. ES Shift Bushings=7.95. Alot better deal than I thought& both with no shipping charges. Anyways I was going to put my shifter in tonite and put the bushings in tomarrow. Ok removing the cat more than once didn't sound good. I am waiting for the bushings to get here before I do it. **Question: How do you get the plate off that has all the rubber nipples coming through it. It has 2 front bolts and 2 nuts that are thin and don't come off? Maybe the answer lies above my cat?

59.95 sounds like a good price for a PaceSetter, I think I paid more than that for mine. Anyways, the Cat doesn't need to be removed for this install. all you have to do is drop pull out the screws in the exhaust hangers from the heat shield (also make sure the ground wire is disconnected near the cat, it should be near one of the hangers)
That should give enough clearance for you to work with. the rest of the install is pretty straight forward if you follow the Pacesetter guide.

---Yes you'll be able to remove this from the bottom side, it will be self explanatory when you are actually looking at it.

I suggest that you spray WD40 on everything to make everything smooth, and I also advise that you adjust the shifter for a real quick throw and hammer the heat shield (or if you have a jig saw cut a hole) in order to fit the bottom of the lever. I set mine to the quickest and it feels great. Hope this helps,
Nick
