Well, I'm no expert mechanic, but common sense and a little high school physics would indicate that if the thing is faster to rev, the revs will also drop faster when you let off the gas to shift... less momentum, right?
Whether this has a detrimental effect on heel-and-toe shifting, I don't know... you'd have to spike the rpms more, but the spike would come up faster, so it seems like a draw to me...
